Can we break 75 at Royal Troon?
by Matt Coles
The Open Championship will return to the Championship Course at Royal Troon in 2024.
It will be the first time the venue has hosted the sport's oldest tournament in eight years.
Henrik Stenson was the victor the last time The Open was held at Troon, thanks to an incredible final round. He became the first Scandinavian to win a men's major championship in doing so.
NCG's Hannah Holden was invited to play the Championship Course earlier this year in a Visit Scotland initiative.
The initiative was to show that it was a year to go until the Claret Jug made its way back north of the border.
With the Championship Course playing as a Par 74 off the women's tees, Hannah would have to shoot level par if she was to break the magical 75 mark.
