Athlone Golf Club

BOUNDED on three sides by the picturesque Lough Ree, Athlone exploits the natural splendour of its surroundings in all corners of this beautifully designed course. Founded in 1892, Athlone completed a three-year plan in 2006 to bring all its tees and greens up to USGA standard and also install new water features. The spectacular scenery is not just restricted to the course though, and from the clubhouse you can drink in the panoramic views of the lake and its wooded islands.
