Belmont Lodge Golf Course
Set in beautiful Herefordshire countryside, alongside the River Wye, the course enjoys a lovely parkland setting with views to the Black Mountains to the West and Hereford to the East with the Malvern Hills beyond. The 6511 yard Par 72 Course [off the White tees] with its five Par 5\'s and eight Par 4\'s [ranging from 319 yards to 467 yards] is designed to test both the high and low handicap player. The first nine mostly takes the higher ground whilst the second nine runs alongside the River Wye. Many find the second nine the harder as the river comes into play on at least five of the holes. The Golf Course\'s parkland setting, the River Wye, the wealth of lovely mature trees together with some more recent plantations are not only a delight to view but also ensure an interesting yet fair challenge. Whatever your standard of golf you will enjoy the natural contours of the fairways and picture postcard scenery. The changing rooms, bar and restaurant are located in Belmont House, an 18th century Grade II* listed building. Why not make the most of your visit and stay at the Belmont Lodge which is located behind the 18th green. Just a short walk from the Bar and Restaurant in the House, the Lodge offers comfortable modern accommodation in twin or double/family rooms, making it the perfect base for exploring Herefordshire, whether for a golfing break or business stay.
