Colne Golf Club
NESTLED between the Yorkshire Dales and the Ribble Valley, Colne boasts some of the best countryside views in England. You can see the Wuthering Heights moors made famous by the Bronte sisters as well as the striking Pendle Hill, which dominates the horizon to the west. The course itself is also a joy. Over a century old, it is established and traditional. It measures just over 6,000 yards, making it long enough to challenge most players, and has immaculate greens and fairways. It was designed by George Lowe, who at the time, over 110 years ago, was custodian of the links at Royal Lytham St Annes.
