Hinksey Heights boasts an 18-hole championship course which has been described as 'an inland links' and benefits from the most remarkable views of Oxford's 'dreaming spires'.  Set on the edge of the city, visitors, business people and residents enjoy their game in one of the most outstanding areas of beauty in the Thames Valley.  On the 18-hole 7,000-yard main course, each hole has been designed to ensure this will be a thinking golfers' course. Hinksey Heights' course is an undulating heathland track which is almost links in style in some regards.  It has a series of interesting and distinctive holes that reward the thoughtful golfer, tempting boldness with the option of playing safe. Full of character, it is testing yet fair. The Championship course is full of character is testing yet fair to all standards and visitors enjoy their golf in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with unsurpassed views of the beautiful Thames Valley.

Fairways and greens encourage you to employ astute course management skills while the choice of tees make it playable for all.   With an active membership of the club there is always plenty of activity on the main course as well as the nine-hole par-3 course. The 939-yard nine-hole Par 3 Spires Course is available for all standards of golfer to play in competition or for practice and tuition purposes. Every hole is of a different length requiring you to choose carefully which iron to use.  With the opening of a new nine-holer – The Par 3 Course – by the late Sir Bobby Robson in the summer of 2006 there are now three courses which offer all players a challenging day's play.
