The course – 5,564yards with a par of 69 – features a gently undulating opening nine holes followed by a more testing and tight finish with broom, gorse and tree-lined mature woodland. This presents a fair challenge to players of all standards who also enjoy natural attractions such as roe deer, woodpeckers and buzzards. The experience is enhanced by some panoramic views especially towards the east – taking in Uryside, Keithhall Estate (the ancestral home of the Earl of Kintore) – and the ever-expanding community of Inverurie. The 19th at Inverurie offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can round off your day with a quality meal and drink, check out the history of the club, chill out on the veranda with a small refreshment or perhaps mingle with the members and enjoy the regular entertainment. Or, visit Steven McLean's well-stocked professional's shop and browse the attractive fare. Inverurie is situated 16 miles along the A96 trunk road from Aberdeen to Inverness and the golf club is in the north west of the town.
