Nestled in a delightful woodland setting, Canterbury is a hidden inland gem in the South East corner of England. The club formed in 1927, celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2017 and is a well established Private Members' club. Designed by Harry Colt, arguably the greatest golf course architect in history, it is considered to be the best inland course (6272 yards, par 71, sss 70) in the area. Set in glorious English countryside of attractive parkland and woods, the course is every bit as challenging as the designer intended.

Colt is well known for the design of many other famous tests of golfing ability including Sunningdale, Wentworth  and Moor Park in England, Royal Portrush in Ireland, and Pine Valley and Cypress Point in the USA.

In addition to the course there is a well stocked golf shop, a bar and restaurant along with putting and chipping greens, practice area and nets.
