Lydd Golf Club

Wide fairways and semi-rough means you needn\'t expect to be kept waiting at Lydd Golf Club. The 18-hole, par-71 course measures 6,517 yards and offers some interesting challenges, including a number of eye-catching hazards - water is a feature on 13 of the holes. Wind can be a factor in the club selection and course strategy and this is no more evident than at the 444-yard 12th which is as often as not played into the prevailing south-westerly. With the fairway reduced to a narrow channel by lakes either side it presents a narrow target.
