Musselburgh Golf Club
BUILT around the river Esk by James Braid in 1938, this lengthy course is a very testing one. It features relatively generous flat fairways that are flanked by trees, meaning that accuracy from the tee is the only way to piece together a good score, and the Craigie burn, which meanders over several fairways, increasing the need for well-placed tee shots. Keep an eye out for the finishing hole – a monster par-4 measuring 474 yards.
