Newton Stewart Golf Club
Newton Stewart Golf Course is a superb 18-hole parkland golf course with spectacular views from every hole. Measuring 5840 yards (par 69), each hole is unique with excellent greens and subtle borrows. The town of Newton Stewart is steeped in history where, as early as 1329, King Robert the Bruce, journey bound for St Ninian\\\'s shrine at Whithorn, visited the town, as well as distinguished traveller Mary Queen of Scots. The local museums contain a wealth of historical treasures and give a fascinating glimpse into Galloway life in bygone days.
