Northenden Golf Club
The full 18 holes at Northenden stretches along the banks of the Mersey with some eye-catching views over the 6,432 yard par 72 track”¦the longest and toughest of the Mersey courses. Two loops of nine holes meander their way through up to one hundred different types of trees and although the course is flat it makes the layout a superb test of golf with a classical card of four par 3Â’s, four par 5Â’s and ten par 4Â’s. The introduction of new course manager Peter Garnett, from Mottram Hall, has had recent visitors and societies remarking on the courseÂ’s immaculate prersentation. Off the course, societies and visitors can enjoy a first-class bar and catering facilities upstairs in our friendly clubhouse. A panoramic view of the course from the balcony also overlooks a magnificent rockery garden, two practice putting greens, a practice area plus two indoor and outdoor nets. NorthendenÂ’s professional James Curtis, one of the top teaching professionals in the area, and his staff are always on hand to answer any queries and a first-class golf shop offers top equipment at discount prices.
