Oakdale Golf Club

Oakdale - situated in the historic Spa Town Of Harrogate - is one of North Yorkshire\\\'s premier layouts.Established August 1914 and designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie of Leeds, the par 71, 18-hole course offers the opportunity to savour a unique mix of moorland and parkland golf.Within the course boundaries can be seen many varieties of wildlife, including grey squirrel, roe deer and foxes.The greenkeepers have taken a great deal of trouble to introduce wild flowers into the certain areas of the course, as well asensuring the fairways and greens are in excellent condition. For the ornithologists of you out there you maybe interested to know we have a resident kingfisher along with dippers and Jays.The Oak Beck comes into play on four of the eighteen holes. Water is also found near the 11th and the 12th where two lakes have recently been constructed.
