Preston Golf Club
Set amidst 153 acres of beautiful parkland, this James Braid designed course is a par 71 with a length of 6312 yards, situated at the "Heart of rural Lancashire", yet just 3 miles from Preston City Centre. The Club House occupies the site of what once was the farm house of William Clayton, built in 1636. Some of the original features can still be seen, including the original entrance and a mullion window. The course hosts several level championship events and offers a fair yet challenging test to all standards of golfer. Preston Golf Club presents you with a mature course with well established trees and a meandering brook which comes into play on seven holes. Close to the motorway network providing easy access to the Fylde, Southport coasts and the Lake District. Preston Golf Club welcomes visitors and visiting parties on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Handicap certificates and advanced booking are a pre-requisite.
