Sudbury Golf Club

AFTER being formed in 1896 as Acton Golf Club, Sudbury moved to its present location in 1920 when it benefitted from the services of Harry Colt. The parkland terrain makes for many interesting holes with many of its par 4s stretching out over 400 yards to pulpit greens that are usually faster than expected. The short holes are also to be reckoned with as all are played in different directions and can be at the mercy of the wind.Sudbury is situated west of London close to the A40, and can be reached from Central London in less than 40 minutes.
