Sweetwoods Park

Opened in 1994, Sweetwoods Park is set on the Kent-Sussex border and is rated among the finest courses in the south of England. The club boasts a fully-stocked pro shop, including a newly-installed swing studio which can be used for custom fitting or for lessons. Two conference rooms are also available, while first-class bar and restaurant facilities make Sweetwoods Park the perfect base for any social or business golfing day. Despite these attractions, the jewel in the crown is the 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout. Featuring a collection of lakes, streams and undulating terrain, the course offers a range of challenges. It is also one of the more picturesque layouts in the region. The 477-yard par-four features a blind tee shot and a fairway that slopes left-to-right, while the sunken green is flanked by a lake. You will need two of your best shots here to reach the putting surface and leave yourself with a decent chance of making par. Ranked as the most difficult hole on the course, the par-five features a greenside water hazard as well as a river that runs alongside the dog-leg fairway.
