The South Buckinghamshire Golf Club
The South Buckinghamshire is one of the finest public golf facilities in the South of England and has everything you could want for great golf.
The emphasis is on a value for money golfing experience that will exceed your expectations.
Set in 130 acres of attractive mature wooded parkland, the 18 hole pay and play Colt/Hawtree designed course is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure with several good birdie opportunities and a memorable selection of holes (6th, 10th, 11th, 13th and 16th) that would grace even the finest championship layout.
The 437-yard par-four features a dogleg fairway with a bunker strategically placed to catch a short tee shot.A precise approach is then required to navigate the bunkers both left and right of the green. The club complements its golf with a range of other facilities. There is a friendly ambience on and off the course, and the clubhouse which opened in February 2014 is the ideal venue for all occasions with private function rooms and training facilities available for hire. The clubhouse also offers an extensive menu in comfortable surroundings, with panoramic views across the course from the restaurant, Cedar Room and rear terrace. The golf shop stocks all the latest brands and there is an on-site club repair workshop. Supported by Sport England through its Inspired Facilities Fund the clubhouse carries the inspire mark celebrating the link to the London 2012 Games. The 18 hole layout is complimented by a superb 9 hole academy course and 15 bay floodlit driving range, which is perfect for beginners and only a mile away from the 18 hole course. The course has ample parking and is as accessible in location as it is in price, lying conveniently close to the M40, M4 and M25.
