Thorpe Wood Golf Course

Thorpe Wood golf course was developed as one of the first major leisure projects in the expansion of Peterborough and has been recognised as the leading Pay-as-you-Play course in the country. The course was designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas, who also designed the Belfry, and was constructed to a very high standard. It challenges and rewards golfers of all levels and abilities. The gently undulating Par 73 course with a length of 7086 yards from the tiger tees is maintained in superb condition and never closes, whatever the weather.Golf Societies are very welcome here at Thorpe Wood with catering facilities available at the adjoining Woodman pub/restaurant.Meals and drinks are available seven days a week at normal pub opening times.Thorpe Wood also has a custom fit facility for a wide range of clubs.
