Kenilworth Golf Club

Founded in 1889 in the heart of Warwickshire, Kenilworth is renowned for its hospitality and friendly welcome. The club is also known as a first-class teaching centre and recently received the GolfMark award in recognition of its excellent tuition facilities. The teaching area is accompanied by some of the finest off-course options in the region. The lounge and bar area provides the perfect place to relax after a round, while the on-site restaurant can cater for up to 100 people. Full conference facilities are also available. Despite these attractions, the jewel in the crown is the 18-hole parkland course. Measuring 6,308 yards, the layout starts with a selection of difficult holes, culminating in the fifth – the toughest on the course.

Known as “Devil's Elbow,” the 443-yard stroke index one par-four requires a long iron or fairway wood from the tee to set up a long approach to a narrow, tricky green. Par is a great result here, regardless of the conditions. The back nine begins in equally difficult fashion. The par-three 10th features a sharply undulating green and some tricky pin positions, while the 16th is the toughest of the par fives and offers a sloping fairway and strategically-placed sand trap. Generally regarded as the signature hole, the 18th is the perfect end to your round. Boasting a large, two-tiered green, the 155-yard par-five also offers some very testing pin positions. The club lies between Kenilworth and Coventry and is easily accessible from the A452 or A46.
