Swindon Golf Club

WITHIN the peaceful beauty of the stunning Staffordshire countryside, few courses can be considered the superior of glorious Swindon. Lying eight miles from Wolverhampton, it is a peaceful as well as challenging course. The undulating parkland layout generally features small greens and tight fairways through pine and deciduous trees. As the course demands precision, its comparatively short length of 6,121 yards does not deter from its challenge. The course never looks bare during the winter and an additional bonus is that it never closes, no matter what the conditions. Other facilities include a driving range and an excellent nine-hole par-three course. The recently refurbished clubhouse combines friendly service with excellent views of the opening and closing holes. Juniors and ladies are very welcome.
