Teign Valley Golf Club

Teign Valley Golf Club & Hotel sits naturally in a beautifully mature landscape, mainly on the lower gently undulating slopes and meadows of the Teign Valley - one of Devon\'s most picturesque valleys set in the Dartmoor National Park. The rolling hills, unspoiled woodland and river takes you to a place a million miles from the pressure and humdrum of everyday life. The club is privately owned and open to both members and visitors alike. The club is professionally managed by a small team of experienced men and women, with a passion for golf and a keen interest in people, who do everything possible to ensure that members, guests and visitors thoroughly enjoy themselves. Challenging the talented, yet not too daunting for the beginner, the course design takes advantage of the beautiful natural features with streams, ponds, mature trees and attractive hedgerows creating a course of great variety, offering good golf for all, with the opportunity for fame and glory! The par 5 (17th) holds the world record dogleg hole in one, recorded in teh Guinness Book of Records at 496 yards. The eighteen hole course, just on 6000 yards (par 70) is fast-draining, relatively dry and as such our super greens are well known for their all round playability with ample availability of buggies in the summer. First and tenth tees are close by the clubhouse, creating maximum flexibility at peak times and often making 27 holes a tempting option!
