Sahara Kuwait
Nearly 750,000m3 of sand was moved to sculpt the undulating contours of Kuwait's pioneering course.
Middle East expert Peter Harradine sculpted the sand cleverly to create this fine championship course south of Kuwait City.
Sahara Kuwait has been built to USGA standards and features three lakes to provide challenge and aesthetic interest as well as close to 5000 trees.
Twelve of its holes are bordered by the race track of the Hunting and Equestrian Club, add an interesting change in topography as well as a view of the races if you time your round right.
It is 6,730 yards - relatively short by the standards of a modern championship course - but plays to a par of 70 with just two par 5s across the 18 and a pair of short holes on either nine.
