One of the most remote courses on any of our lists is Cruit Island. Situated at the very western tip of Ireland, it will take you a while to get there, but it is well worth the journey. The region also has the likes of Portsalon, Narin & Portnoo and Donegal, just to whet the appetite even more about a trip to the northwest of Ireland.
