It is the biggest and most popular city in the Republic of Ireland, and Dublin has plenty to offer all of its visitors when it comes to its golfing landscape as well, with links layouts along the coastline, and plenty of parkland layouts inland as well.

If you're looking for a stay and play resort, then the Lough Erne Resort is the place for you. The Faldo Course at Lough Erne is one of the most picturesque inland courses in the country, playing along a small peninsula surrounded by water.

The Northern Irish capital city is also a great place to stay during your time in the country. Belfast has a great nightlife, and is also within reach of Belvoir Park, Royal Belfast and Malone's Championship Course - all of which ooze quality throughout.

What about the big hitters, though? Northern Ireland is also home to both Royal County Down and Royal Portrush. The former is an Irish Open venue, which is also home to the Annesley Links. Meanwhile, Portrush's Dunluce Course is an Open Championship host venue, and is accompanied by the Valley Links.

How we compiled our Northern Ireland list
We updated our Northern Ireland list when we created our NCG Top 100s list of the best golf courses in Ireland. If one course in Northern Ireland is above another in our Ireland list, then it will also be above it in our Northern Ireland list.
