Teesside Golf Club

A group of local golfing enthusiasts were inspired to found a golf club after the Mayor of Stockton in a public speech deplored the fact that there was no golf course in either Stockton or Thornaby.After a meeting in Stockton Town Hall it was decided to found Teesside Golf Club and the course was opened on the 23rd May 1901.Steeped in more than a hundred years of traditions you will be warmly welcomed when you visit Teesside. In recent times a re-furbishment of the clubhouse has left the club with some of the best facilities in the region as well as one of the best golf courses. The course itself is Parkland with many tree lined fairways. Due to flatness the course is not physically demanding making it ideal for players of all ages.Recently extended clubhouse has enhanced our catering, changing and pro shop facilities.
