The opening and closing few holes around the clubhouse are not its strongest but in between is a set of high quality links holes

A largely enjoyable golf course, although it never really scratched the itch of links golf! A real missed opportunity to get up into the dunes with some tee sites on the homeward 9. Very few views of the bay considering it is so close.

The first couple of holes are a somewhat strange introduction, but once you reach the third the course truly starts. With true links turf and well positioned bunkers and fast greens, Ashburnaham is truly a challenge to all.
