1 great hole, the 3rd, and several good holes but it is mostly a course solely to support the primary course at the resort. The condition was very good. Some holes were clearly not original and just acted as a transit hole between holes (eg. the 2nd).

The Montgomerie contains some truly good holes but it is very hilly so you need to be fit to enjoy them.

Similar to others on the resort, Montgomerie is a parkland course with lots of elevation changes and long walks between greens and while there are a number of excellent holes there are also a number of bland forgettable ones.
