The trip to Durness is not for the fainthearted, as it includes a 35-mile stretch on a single-track road to get to the most north-western course in mainland UK, but once you get here, it is well worth the visit. After the first couple of holes, you really start to see why the journey was worth it, with stunning views of Scottish hills, Loch's and sea all around.
