Breathtaking layout. Kingsbarns is challenging, but rewarding for those that take it on.

An unforgettable modern coastal classic. Its stunning design is both playable and challenging.

Magnificent course which already feels like it’s been there for decades. Superb condition and setting, but can be a victim of its own popularity with international visitors. Be prepared to wait on almost every shot given tourists almost all have caddies, and even with their guidance, three putts are frequent.

Kyle Phillips has done a staggering job designing Kingbarns with imagination to create links that possess huge drama but are so deliberately rustic that they feel much older than their 20 years.

The greens at Kingsbarns are so huge. The job is far from complete, even after approaches find the target.

Breathtaking views and very good conditioning. A good experience but Soul-less in my opinion.

A wonderful modern links. Raised tees and the rarety of blind shots reminds you it’s modern, but everything else would have you believe the course had been there for a hundred years or more. A modern classic.
