They have remained true to Vardon's bunkerless design on this scenic, undulating course. A strong set of holes with excellent greens complexes make this well-presented course a treat to play.

A real pleasure to play although it is a difficult walk. A great piece of land for a golf course and some very interesting holes. The conditioning was pretty good despite it recently having undergone maintenance so should imagine the conditioning is usually even better. The par 3s are relatively weak but balanced with some very very good holes (3, 5, 16, 18).
