A challenging part-heathland, part-parkland track. Plenty of interest and danger in the 18.

Pleasant enough parkland. A Good challenge, as nearly every hole has a degree of difficulty to overcome. Set amongst lovely mature trees, which are all in play.

It is a wonderfully challenging course with water in play at a number of holes and a typically testing layout created by Dave Thomas. It is definitely worthy of being much higher in ranking, with both spectacular holes like 9, 10,17 with water in play to contrast with short strategic par's fours and well-positioned sand and trees.
