Harlech is a grand day out with much to offer the visiting golfer, including the All Wales 15th. The links offers a stiff, but not an overbearing challenging even if much of the course is flat.

A tough course at par 69, but very enjoyable with some good strategic bunkering.

Superbly defined, conditioned and presented and a joy to play. The holes on the back nine through the dunes are especially memorable and overall is a very strong par 69.

I will play this great course at every opportunity but always feel a little underwhelmed for a reason I cannot put my finger on.

Royal St David’s is one of the most testing links in Wales. The condition has improved greatly with the installation of a new irrigation system. A charming course with some great par 4’s.

The fairways had not recovered from the previous year's drought and were patchy in places, but the new fairway irrigation system that has been installed will improve it. A delightful setting and the back nine provides a great challenge.
