Another a bit like Rye - very difficult to separate the club ambiance with the course as they both go hand in hand. A very enjoyable and strong course.

Brancaster is not the sort of club to seek the limelight in hosting high profile amateur or professional events. It remains as it always has, a functional club to perfectly suit its utterly natural course. There is so much to recommend the course that one merely has to mention #s 3, 4, 8, 9 & 14. These five holes on their own are worthy of a lengthy drive to the wilds of Norfolk. If ever a golfing episode could epitomise what a course and club is about, the tale of Humphrey Ellis cannot be excelled. At the home hole in a medal competition, Humphrey found himself left with a five footer. A protracted pause for study was succeeded by his pocketing the ball with the candid comment "It’s impossible."

A course full of character, located in an amazing setting. A few blind shots but overall the course pleases every category of golfer.

What a setting! There's nothing quite like Brancaster. Mad. Crazy. Fun. Challenging. Unique. Pure. Shall I carry on?

The brilliant links up with the best for fun, idiosyncratic golf. The holes around the turn affected by the tide are often noted as the standouts, but in reality, that really is a disservice, as there are many fantastic holes. Rewards strategy and imagination.

Golf as it was 100 years ago. Fabulous, charming traditions and quirks. No course changes in 100 years and still plays challenging today. In a mild breeze was greatly enjoyable without being too easy. Hazards and Deep traps are to be avoided!

The gates, the shared fairways, the turn, the masts, the magic is shared across the golf course!
