It is clear the founding fathers from Nottingham were onto something when they decided to build a course in the isolated dunes of Gibraltar Point. Seacroft is a very good and, in parts, a charming links. It is much more than a fine pairing with Woodhall Spa.

The course condition is improving since the new fairway watering system was installed. Whenever playing Seacroft, a splendid sense of isolation prevails as it is seldom busy.

Seacroft is a golf course for those who like their links golf pure and undiluted.

I was born in Lincolnshire and Seacroft was my nearest Links course. I loved it from the start and the more I have played elsewhere the more it has become one of my favourite layouts.
